walk on campus (not a state poem but a rest stop for a snack)

The carbon cycle includes
converting CO2 to
oxygen through
photosynthesis
via plants.

naked
trees leave
the unrecycled
air cool & stale
with the scent of cheeseburgers.

mmmmmmm, carbon dioxide.

im salivating.

i love the symmetry of this one. fold it horizontally and the halves match. like an inkblot.

and another nice use of the hyperlink.

i do think that the state poem thing is beginning to lose steam. we need a break. and how can we write a poem about the states we've never been to?

Indeed the states are slowing down, at first i was just using it as a potential draw for another person from another state to stumble upon us, then a challenge, now a headache.

I was going to add to this poem at the end

p.s.

i don't like cheeseburgers

(but I couldn't break the symmetry)
