another poem with alternating lines. very nice. it works just as well without the italics in there, i think. but that could just be because of the drastic contrast in subject from line to line. one reads like a domestic story of errands and annoyance while the other reads like an instruction manual for a soviet spaceship. it creates a nice dichotomy and eliminates the need for italics.

i toyed with the italics but ultimatly felt them unnecessary. i wanted it to be more about interference of the errands with the instructions so the drastic separation of italics would be a little too much.
